Pastor John dedicated his life to Christ in 1990. Soon thereafter, he joined Mount Zion Christian Church Missionary team in Durham, NC. He completed a year of training in street evangelism and traveled throughout North Carolina to minister the gospel door-to-door and at tent revivals. Pastor John later joined United Christian Fellowship. He was licensed as a minister in 1998 and attended Freedom Bible College and Seminary.

While continuing to serve at Mighty Wind Ministries, Pastor John was appointed as the Director of the Audio, Visual, and Cleaning Ministries. Pastor John was ordained in 2007. He created and taught a new believer’s curriculum entitled Faith Foundations, created instruction manuals and procedures for sound techs and was a speaker for the Music Ministry Workshops at Victory Chapel in 2010.

In 2011, Pastor John and his family joined Spirit of Faith Christian Center, now Faith City Central. He began serving on the Marriage Made EZ team and taught in Perfecting Class. He currently serves on the Pastoral Staff and the Board of Directors.

Pastor John married Janet in 1993. In over 30 years of marriage, they have been blessed with three children and six grandchildren.
